After their civil wars, Egypt's situation improves greatly in the next three dates. Or not.

By 2650BC, you are in charge of Djoser's Egypt, the age of the pyramids begins. You will be sent to conquer Nubia, Sinai and the mountains east of the Nile in order to build the gigantic pyramids of the Giza plateau. This will be facilitated with a total centralisation of your state. This will certainly be the easiest date for Egypt with no serious neighbours and land ready to be conquered.

But for 2500BC, it will be the consequences of the colossal projects of the pyramid builders that will be done. The climate will be worse, the Libus will become restless in the west, and the nobility will start to gain power. The over-centralised state will begin to weaken, but still be strong enough to hold on.

The period from 2350BC onwards will be of a different kind. A succession crisis will occur in the early turns with a king without sons and brothers pushing for a change of dynasty. The climate will be less and less good. The nobility will become stronger and stronger while plots and assassinations will multiply in the Court. And gradually, the Egyptian edifice will begin to crack under its own weight.

To be completed during the so-called kiloyear event 4,2...
